The nickel processing and smelting facility (smelter) of Halmahera Jaya Feronikel (HJF) is currently under construction in the Eastern region of Indonesia, specifically in Kawasi Village, South Halmahera Regency, North Maluku Province. This smelter operates within the Mining Business License (IUP) of Trimegah Bangun Persada (TBP) from Harita Nickel, which has been conducting mining operations since 2010. HJF shares are owned by PT Obira Jaya (63%) and Lygend Resources & Technology Co., Ltd. (37%).
